The Best Laid Plans is a standalone novella set in the world of the Thornton Vermont Series. Thornton Vermont and Green Mountain Hearts series readers will recognize some familiar characters and locations. It is a short, low-drama romance set during the summer of 2020, and features social distancing and mask practices as used in the early months of the pandemic.
